The MIB gas transfer package is hydraulically operated through a skid mounted hydraulic power unit/control panel.
The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) will be installed on the Master Vessel and it is designed to guarantee the hydraulic power to release all the ERS even in case of a total Vessel black out.
The Remote Control Panel (RCP) will be installed in the ship’s Central Control Room and is supplied to monitor the status of the system and to provide the Emergency Release functions of the ERS for the LNG transfer system.
If required, the HPU and the RCP can be designed with an architecture suitable to be integrated in a SIL2 Safety System.
